Nick Saban Song

Check out the guy at about the 1:00 minute mark…

I should note that I had nothing to do with putting this video together.  I think I’ll start charging royalties for the use of my image.  Head over to Google Images and type “Bear Bryant Tattoo” and check out the first picture that comes up.

Can’t wait to see where it pops up next…

The rich may get richer.  Sources close the “The University” say that preliminary talks have begun to discuss the extension of Nick Saban’s contract.

If you break his salary down by the  hour, Saban currently makes $1,923.08 per hour (based on a 40 hour work week).  He currently makes $76,923.08 per week.  You can compare your “measly” salary to Saban’s at Kevin Scarbinsky’s blog.

Auburn Hires Gene Chizik (lol)

Well, at least the “Auburn Family” seem to approve of the hire…

Compare that reaction to Nich Saban’s arrival in Tuscaloosa…

Finebaum should be interesting tomorrow.  Jay Jacob’s days on the plains are numbered.

#1

I just witnessed one of the best college football games that I have ever seen.  Texas Tech just knocked off the #1 ranked, Texas Longhorns, 39-33.  This means that the Alabama Crimson Tide will more than likely jump to #1 when the polls come out tomorrow.  Of course, there is a lot of season left, but I don’t think anyone expected Nick Saban to turn the Tide into championship contenders in just two seasons.  I’m sure the intoxicated LSU fans are licking their chops as Saban returns to Baton Rouge next Saturday.

Things are finally as they should be.  Alabama #1 and Auburn praying for bowl eligibility.  I love this sport!
