New Contract?

The rich may get richer.  Sources close the “The University” say that preliminary talks have begun to discuss the extension of Nick Saban’s contract.

If you break his salary down by the  hour, Saban currently makes $1,923.08 per hour (based on a 40 hour work week).  He currently makes $76,923.08 per week.  You can compare your “measly” salary to Saban’s at Kevin Scarbinsky’s blog.

One of my childhood favorites and probably the biggest celebrities of my lifetime passed away today.  They say that death comes in “3’s”.  Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon preceded M.J. in death this week.

I think I’ll be the guy who starts the rumor that Michael Jackson is alive.  30 years from now, when you hear of a Michael Jackson sighting, remember that you heard it here first.

KidLife ’09

Our church just wrapped up KidLife week (a.k.a. VBS).  We had over 1000 kids participate in this exciting week.  I was honored to be the KidLife pastor for the 5th and 6th grade group.  It was a great week!

I created the following video to be used as an illustration in one of my talks:

This was my first experiment with iMovie, but I was pleased with the results.
